Military Plus Property Management has been purchased!
It is with great excitement that we announce the purchase of Military Plus Realty and Property Management by Dodson Property Management.
We, at Dodson Property Management (DPM), wish Jo Anne and Gary the best as the head into retirement and we thank them for their help during the transition. Thanks to their cooperation and support we are set up for success and on our way servicing their clients and customers with the service level you’ve come to expect.
When the companies merge, Dodson Property Management will manage over 3500 single family homes in the Central Virginia region including nearly 300 in the Fredericksburg/Stafford area. We’ve been managing properties since 2007 in Central Virginia and in this market since 2014 and we are excited to take on the new challenge of an expanding office.
As a Military Plus client, transitioning to Dodson Property Management will be easy. We run on the same software that you have been used to and report in similar ways. Additionally, the main core of the Military Plus team will be staying on board as Shelly Gale will be our Senior Property Manager and Gabby Johnson will take on an Assistant Property Manager role. Finally, you’ll enjoy having a DPM employee for the last few years as Naomi Sharp will be merging with this team.
If you are a current Military Plus tenant, the shift will be just as easy. While we’ll be rolling out changes over the next few weeks, none of them will be huge shifts and we will over-communicate before making changes. This means to make sure your current, correct email is on file with us. Your Appfolio portals will be active in the next few days and you can access them through our website to pay your rent. You’ll be receiving an invitation to the portal shortly.
For now, the biggest change is that you should be mailing your rent to: 409 E. Main St. Suite 301, Richmond, VA 23219.
