RICHMOND, Va. (January 5, 2022) — Dodson Companies announced today the acquisition of Berkeley Realty Property Management Inc. of Williamsburg, Va. The company, owned by Pam Blank and Ed Robbins, has been a leading property manager in greater Williamsburg for over 40 years.
The transition for Berkeley’s single-family owners, residents, and homeowner associations will be seamless, as the Berkeley team joins Dodson and maintains all existing operations. Berkeley employees, residents and owners, and association leaders will also gain new technologies and access to highly skilled management experts with Dodson. The acquisition includes 61 homeowner associations, totaling 6,530 units (a mix of condominiums and houses), as well as 470 single-family units.
The deal marks Dodson’s 11th acquisition of property management companies in recent years and fourth in the association management space. In November, Dodson acquired Patriot Properties Inc. of Landsdowne, Va. and Plum Street Partners in Petersburg.

Dodson manages 5,700 single-family homes and apartments in Central and Northern Virginia and in the Peninsula. The Association Management division oversees 14,560 units in Virginia and Florida. Dodson Commercial has 2.3 million square feet under management.
